BAFTA-award winning writer Nicôle Lecky dives into the world of teenage girls and their mothers in her upcoming BBC mystery thriller. The six-part series is a provocative and deliciously honest look at mother/daughter relationships in a haze of social media, hidden apps and peer pressure.

LOC provided full VFX services for the BBC six-part series Wild Cherry. We worked closely with the production team during the early stages of pre-production, supplying script breakdowns and VFX bids to support accurate budgeting. Throughout the six-month shoot, LOC provided on-set VFX supervision, assisting the production with more complex visual effects setups.
Post-production spanned four months, during which approximately 500 VFX shots were delivered. The work included environment enhancements using CG models and on-set elements captured by our team, extensive 2D clean-up, hundreds of phone composites, and the creation and compositing of graphics. These visual elements became a key component of the overall storytelling.
